The Manitoba Psychiatric Association and University of Manitoba Department of Psychiatry are warmly inviting you to attend the 2021 MPA Spring Scientific Virtual Conference, taking place via Zoom on June 6 and 7th, 2021. The theme of this year’s conference is on Gender and Sexuality and we are pleased to feature distinguished speakers Dr Dan Karasic, a psychiatrist from UCSF, who has done extensive clinical, research and committee work related to transgender health; and Dr Sarah Hunter Murray, a local sex and couples therapist, who in addition to academic publications is a sought-after expert for several media outlets.
The conference will be held the afternoon of June 6th and continue the morning of June 7th. On the afternoon of June 7th, the CPA will hold its CPD Institute lecture series, which will also take place virtually. The MPA AGM will take place the evening of June 7th. Registration for the MPA Conference will include complimentary admission to the CPA CPD Institute. Please see the accompanying brochures for more information.
